When we talk about the names of God, some people may wonder: Does this mean there are many gods? The answer is no—there is only one true God.
Each “name” in Scripture is not a different god but a revelation of His character, given when His people experienced Him in a personal way. These names are reminders of His faithfulness, His love, and His presence.
Think of it this way: you may be called “mother,” “friend,” or “teacher.” You are still the same person, but each title reveals something true about you. In the same way, the names of God show us who He is in His fullness.
